The "Main Street" (The New Yorker) 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle expresses an incredibly colorful visual of the energy and excitement of New York City. Men, women, children, and the elderly, bustle along the city street. While a mother comforts her crying baby, a man sells fruit from the side of the street. From inside the buildings, women clean the windows of their apartments and men observe the scene below. A woman hangs laundry up on the roof, most likely humming along to the city sounds. This buzzing picture of contrasting colors was on the cover of The New Yorker on November 18, 1939, and continues onward as a symbol of New York City. As a whole, the puzzle perfectly depicts the exciting, energetic madness of the city of New York.

I really enjoy the New Yorker puzzles, challenging but worth it
I LOVE New Yorker puzzles!
New Yorker magazine cover puzzles are some of the best.
Have done this puzzle twice. Very enjoyable
Loved doing this puzzle - it was fun
This puzzle was THE most unusual puzzle I've done during the pandemic!! Every shape of the pieces was odd, unusual, different. This is not a typical puzzle with the pieces being very similar. Because the pieces were so different and oddly shaped, it made it easier only every once in a while. I expected the weird shapes to help me, but I don't think it helped that much!
This puzzle was fun to do. There are so many colors and interesting shapes to work with. It took the 2 of us about a week to complete it, working a few hours each day. We did need a magnifying glass for several pieces (we are both senior citizens).
this was a great puzzle.
A challenge but very doable.
Loved this puzzle. It was challenging to make, but beautiful when it was finished. Highly recommend.
One of the most fun to do!
Just working on this one now - so far seems enjoyable.
working on now and enjoying
We loved doing the NYC Street Scene November 18, 1939 New Yorker Cover puzzle. This is the 2nd puzzle we’ve done. I hated doing puzzles when I was growing up! Dad hid the box so they were extra difficult to do! One suggestion we have is to not cover a section of the puzzle on the cover of the box with your “JIGSAW PUZZLE 1000 Pieces”. Often it’s a difficult part of the puzzle and it’s impossible to see it in the tiny picture on the side of the box!! We love New Yorker cover puzzles though!
I think that this brand is a good quality at a great price. And puzzle warehouse makes shopping online a pleasure
Beautiful puzzle! Bright colours and cute drawing. Looks great framed.
This one was a challenge, but lots of fun.
enjoyed this thank you.
This was assembled. Then coated with Puzzle Mod Podge. Then framed and given as a present to an elderly friend who grew up on the streets of New York.
A fun image to put together. Lots of different sections of the puzzle to focus on. Great random cut pieces.
New Yorker Puzzles are COOL!!!! And this Main Street depiction is wonderful!!!. Great artwork makes for a fun solve.
