Motor City is a love letter to the American automobile, featuring a busy street lined with vintage cars and iconic brand showrooms. A traffic cop keeps things moving on the ground while a plane pulls a banner announcing the auto show. It's a snapshot of a bygone era, capturing the spirit and energy of a city built on innovation. The painter also pays homage to the talented musicians who introduced the sound of Motown to the world, a vital part of the city's legacy. Motor City is part of our American Cities collection.
