Santa's Workshop Limited Edition 2022

I bought this puzzle for a family member for christmas. It was beyond difficult. It was the hardest puzzle they had ever put together in their life. The pieces are very small and very intricate and the detail of this puzzle is amazing. The finished product is absolutely something to see. It's definitely going to be framed and shown as a piece of art. Absolutely beautiful puzzle, it was a limited edition and when it's finished it really brings the holiday spirit.

This puzzle was a lot of fun to start at Christmastime. Because I do not look at the picture prior to and during assembling the pieces, except when ordering obviously, this puzzle was more challenging than others. The artwork on each piece is muted, like a fine painting rather than what might look more like a drawing or photo rendering. Therefore, most pieces were indistinguishable from other pieces except for color and shape. Mrs. Clause and the clock were two puzzle areas that did provide recognition to complete quickly. The quality in color, artwork, and paper are excellent.

Nice puzzle. Personally not a fan of Christmas, but living at an Assisted Living, so a puzzle to be built and enjoyed by everyone

Easy ordering, fast shipping

I finish about 12-20 1000 piece puzzles a year and 10 puzzles of 500 pieces in between to keep things fresh. I write the frequency in which I work on puzzles to give the reader an idea as to my level of experience for this review. My daughter (also a puzzle enthusiast) and I began this puzzle 6 days ago and have found the experience rather dissatisfying. To be fair, we are not the type of people who would find an all white puzzle to be enjoyable nor would we purchase landscapes simply because we prefer detail in our pieces, so this is that type of puzzle. The pieces are almost blurry so it is time consuming to try and figure out where the pieces go via that sorting process. We are about 3/4 finished and due to pure stubbornness we will finish it tomorrow but the experience has been mentally draining and not in a good way. Last I want to comment on the spacing between pieces which gives the over all puzzle appearing a jaggedness rather than what we are accustomed to with puzzle pieces being snug. It’s hard to describe but there is space between the pieces and if u could get it to hold together so to hold it up against the light I am certain light would shine through it
