A beautiful desert valley is the focus of this 1000 piece SunsOut Puzzle. In this moody scene from James Lee there is a thunderstorm taking place. Lighting strikes the mountain while cactus bloom after the rains. The completed puzzle will measure 20” x 27”

This puzzle was very annoying to work. The pieces are not interlocking so it would slide around while you were working on it. Some of the end pieces did not even look like end pieces until you put 2 of them together. When you were looking for a pieces by shape--you could not find that shape until 2 pieces were put together. I like hard but this one was annoying. I will not pick another puzzle made by Sunsout.
Ok, need more real scenery. Actual photos of outstanding scenery turned into 1000 piece puzzles
Fun to work
This is a beautiful puzzle to work. Some pieces not cut through.
Fun.
Looks even better when completed
Same as as other puzzle comment.
Just love the beautiful colors of the puzzle. I have it glued and framed. The quality of the pieces are a whole lot better than what I'm use to. And the delivery was fast. Woohoo! I'm happy 😊
on my bucket list of anticipated places to go....Looks like a good time...will put together this winter
Difficult, but I still enjoyed it very much. Beautiful picture.
Could not finish so far. Will keep trying.
This puzzle is absolutely stunning. BUT pieces were impossible to identify. Recommend 500 pieces instead of 1,000.
This puzzle is a water color painting. The individual pieces were extremely hard to identify. We were able to finish it - although my wife pretty much gave up trying (rare). We framed it and gave it to a friend who had moved here from Arizona and he loved it.
Loved it
Loved this puzzle. Beautiful colors and challenging.
A desert scene you would want to drive through. Cacti in bloom reveal a different side of the desert.
found this one more difficult - have framed it for our rec roomn
Great puzzle
Beautiful
Beautiful puzzle. Pieces don't lock together tight enough. Did frame and hang on wall.
Found the top of the image too menacing after a while, and the flowers in the foreground tended to merge together.
Beautiful print and color and excellent quality puzzle. A nice challenge.
Beautiful Spring Desert scene and It was pretty easy to put together.
The cactus and plants were harder to set.
This is a very nice quality and colorful puzzle. What made it harder than many others is that the lines aren't very crisp, somewhat like a watercolor where objects blend together a little. It was well worth the extra effort. It did not include a separate poster, but it came in a large box that showed the full extent of the scene. No pieces were missing.
We’ve purchased a number of Sunsout puzzles over the last year. The pictures are pretty/interesting and I like that there’s a variety of shapes to the pieces. However, I’ve noticed in the last several I’ve bought, there are some pieces that are still conjoined; the cut was not completed; significantly in some cases. I’m wondering if they’re trying to crank them out too fast and quality is dipping a bit. Update: Once we finished this puzzle, we found one piece missing and two duplicates, along with several that were not completely cut through and others with ragged edges. I contacted SunsOut about these issues and stated I was not looking to replace pieces or anything; just wanted them to improve their quality control. All I got back was a generic email about replacing pieces. I contacted them again, pointing this out. I got a rather rude email about how puzzles are made by people so expect problems (haven’t had these issues with other brands). No more SunsOut for us. Further update: While SunsOut didn’t seem to much care about the issues we had with their puzzles, Puzzle Warehouse stepped up and provided excellent customer service 👍. That’s how you keep a customer.
Well constructed, pieces fit well. Not a fast work but did not feel I needed a break at any point.
Great Puzzle
Very pretty
Very challenging and rewarding
Very fun puzzle, good visual clues for assembly. Plus the piece shapes are not limited to the grid-like puzzles which I find more boring.
Not many desert puzzles out there, but the colors are primarily dark and muted which requires more focus. This is not a puzzle you'll finish quickly.
I have not worked this puzzle yet but it is beautiful and will give me a lot of pleasure while putting it together.
I enjoyed putting this puzzle together. Beautiful
Beautiful colors. Very rewarding to finish One of my favorite puzzles to do!!
Great colorful puzzle.
Loved the finished product.
A really nice looking puzzle.
Loved the picture. Hard.
Takes some effort, but worth it.
Great puzzle. Great price.Good shipping, for $5.00. Received when it was suppose too. Will order again.
Completely satisfied
BEAUTIFUL
A beautiful puzzle that I enjoyed putting together.
Very pretty scenic picture. Has a lot of color. Fun to do.
This puzzle is for anyone that is looking for a challenge.
One of my favorite puzzles so far. The colors are way over the top, but that's the point. Individual pieces were quite nice to look at. Was pretty challenging with the kaleidoscope of colors and repeated shades at different places.
Makes me long to go back to Arizona.
Thanks!
great puzzle not too difficult but challenging
You offer such a wide variety of puzzles and I received my in a timely manner. I am drawn to James Lee's work, didn't know both puzzles were by the same man when I ordered them. I only just discovered the relaxing challenge of jigsaw puzzles and look forward to more in the future.
We love SunsOut puzzles and try to buy them exclusively. The size and thickness of the pieces is perfect and we like the unique shapes that add challenge to completing the puzzle.
This was a challenge - lots of colors that sort of blended together. Not many definite lines of separation. Gorgeous scene. It caught my eye when I saw it.
Good variety of colors; interesting shapes for pieces; would like to see in 1 mm or so thicker so pieces held together better.
What can I say. I live out in the desert. One beautiful picture. True to form when monsoon storms roll threw. Have not yet done this one.
I love James Lee puzzles! His use of colors is amazing! I also like the Sunsout brand. Their shapes are unique and varied.
