It’s a nice puzzle, but there are a lot of similar pieces and false matches (especially at the border). The worst part was that there was no additional picture, and the details on the box are tiny; I spent A LOT of time squinting like an old lady.

Great quality puzzle -- the pieces feel great in your hand. I also like the fact that this puzzle has a matte finish, it makes seeing the little map details much easier. If you love old maps and have an interest in 1500s English history, you will appreciate this puzzle. It prompted me to do a little research on the origins of Cambridge Univ colleges.

This is on the easy side of medium difficulty. I mean, it's a map - every piece is pretty easy to identify, ultimately, with only a few set aside for later. But I enjoyed it quite a bit.

My daughter and I completed this in 4 hours. I like this company's puzzles: nice thick pieces, no ambiguity about edge vs interior pieces. The connections aren't tight, but the pieces do connect just tightly enough that you can move a partially completed part of the whole without it falling into single pieces. The colors are soothing, not too dull, and the shine of the surface is not too reflective. As I write this review, the puzzle is on sale, so I recommend taking advantage of the bargain!

Fun for English history buffs. (Of all the puzzle manufacturers that I have purchased I think Pomegranate has the BEST quality. The individual pieces are the thickest I have encountered and they fit together so well that, if you are reasonably careful, you can pick up a completed puzzle and it will stay together!)
