The reason I rated it extreme for the difficulty is because of the outside pieces. Some of the pieces fit many pieces...not sure if it goes or not. Had to do the inside in order to finish the border.
This whimsical puzzle made me smile the whole time I was putting it together. Yes, the areas of single color can get tricky, but I like challenges in my puzzles, or I'd find them boring. The only criticism I have of this puzzle is that I would have enjoyed it if Heye had included the frame and flowery border you see on the box cover in the puzzle as well.
