In the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle, Tower of Babel by Piatnik, a painting by Pieter Bruegel is depicted in puzzle form. This painting was done in 1563. The Tower of Babel, according to the Book of Genesis, was an enormous tower built in the plain of Shinar, Mespotamia. The story goes that a united humanity of the generations following the Great Flood, speaking a single language and migrating to the east, came to this place to build a city with a tower "with its tops in the heavens.". This puzzle is a great puzzle to whip out for the whole family!

This is a HARD puzzle. I recommend it for the serious puzzler who enjoys a challenge. Beautiful when completed. Excellent choice!!!

The print on this puzzle is excellent, and the pieces are sturdy. My low rating is because the pieces don't fit together well. It's very difficult to tell if the pieces actually fit. The edges are all slightly rounded so there is a small gap between each piece. I'm not likely to buy this brand again.
