They put some thought into where the whinsy pieces should go, judging from the coloration of some of the pieces. The quality is excellent. 3mm thick, very dense wood, no warping. The picture and backing design don't show any sign of peeling-maybe the image was inked onto the top layer of wood? The backing design is helpful for identifying false fits. Separating two pieces from a false fit can be difficult, due to the wood thickness. This was a delight to put together.
