Many of Haruyo's paintings hail from her deep appreciation of the style, flamboyance and drama of Kabuki theatre. Haruyo herself trained for many years as a Kimono painter under rigorous schooling. Pretty but a little difficult
So beautiful, very nice color variation.
OMG, this is a beautiful puzzle but sooooo challenging with its repeating elements and colors. This puzzle brand is exceptional in terms of puzzle piece thickness and uniqueness of pieces shapes. This will take you awhile.
I thought this puzzle might be easier because of the colorful elements. Not so! It was every bit as challenging as the other 1,000 piece puzzles we've solved. Loved the color palette and the graceful design here. Will definitely look for other Tsuki Hoshi puzzles.

This is such a beautiful puzzle. I enjoyed this one immensely and will do it again in the future. It's a keeper.
Of the Morita puzzles with ladies in kimonos, this one has to be my favorite. I think it's gorgeous and when I got my shipment, it was the first one I pulled out to do that day. I couldn't wait. This is a vibrant, lovely puzzle and I'm glad I finished it to put it on my wall. I found it to be a little difficult just because of the sheer amount of blue, but other than that, it was a pretty steady progression as far as putting it together. Pieces fit nicely.

This puzzle is stunning!! The colors are vibrant and beautiful. The image is sharp and clear. Two things kept me from giving it five stars - there was a TON of puzzle dust in the box and on the pieces. As I sorted and cleaned them, I coughed and sneezed, and my eyes itched. I have a few Eurographics puzzles, and I never experienced this before. In addition, most of the pieces were sturdy and nicely-sized and shaped for easy handling. However, there were about ten pieces that were miniscule!! The kimono is particularily challenging and at times frustrating, but overall, a worthwhile puzzle.
