Whether his subject was cats, dogs, raccoons, blackbirds, turtles, or the wonderful world of bugs, American artist Charley Harper (1922 - 2007) made paintings filled with color, motion, and fun. Careful study of each creature helped him simplify its form so that its unique personality shone through. My husband and I really enjoyed working on this one. It was more difficult than some of what we've done. We liked doing something abstract like this. There were some misdirections with the pattern but that made it fun. One of our favorites. For us the Pomegranate quality has made it worth the cost.

A lot of fun. Charley Harper has such wonderful graphics! Sometimes you just need to work on an easy one after doing so many 1000 piece puzzles.
One of those where little surprises emerge as you go along -- in this case, birds! Lots of fun to put together.

Good puzzle
An easy version of a larger Charley Harper puzzle.
Very excited to receive the puzzle. This one is the second Pomegranate Puzzle that i have. I am just starting to do puzzles so this 500 piece was perfect. The art piece is beautiful and fun to match the colors. 2 pieces of the puzzle had a little bit of the card board off so we had to glue it back together,. When the puzzle was finished it was a joy to view. I will buy more of Pomegranate puzzles and look forward to putting them together with my grandchildren this summer. I would recommend these puzzles to my family and friends.
I love Charley Harper's drawings. A fun puzzle to do, with great colors and designs.
