For dementia patients, jigsaw puzzles with many pieces and detailed images are too difficult. MindStart puzzles, designed by an occupational therapist, are unique because the images have only a few, simple objects in each image, making it easier for the user to find pieces that go together. This design feature, along with having fewer puzzle pieces and images from adult life, allows the person with dementia to have the right level of mental stimulation and dignified success. Also, the large size of the puzzle pieces helps seniors with vision loss to easily see and handle the pieces. A research study showed that patients with dementia were able to set the MindStart puzzles more independently, with less cues needed, when compared to a child’s puzzle of the same size. This gives the person a sense of accomplishment and gives caregivers respite time.

My grandkids just love it.
My mother has advanced Alzheimer’s does well with 24 piece puzzles . If u have more pleas list them
Great for those with dementia, since it brings back memories. Having 24 pieces is terrific for those whose attention span is not very long.
Love the themes!! My client loves them as she is unable to do small piece puzzles
I was looking for some easy, yet "mature" puzzles for my adult son who has intellectual disability. A challenging puzzle for him is around 30-50 pieces. So this one is a little easier than he needs, but the picture was cute, so I ordered it for some variety. He and grandma popped popcorn and did this puzzle together. It was fairly easy for him, but I bet it will be his go-to puzzle on days when he's just not up for a big challenge. Very thankful for Puzzle Warehouse where I can search for puzzles with few pieces that aren't just for little kids.
My mother is 95 and in memory care, but she has been interested in working puzzles of late. The challenge is to find sturdy pieces and age appropriate puzzles with 24-36 pieces. Large figures are helpful as well. I found all of that in this Mind-Start puzzle. Thanks.
