“A towering saguaro cactus looms behind two blooming cholla cacti and a grouping of prickly pears in this brilliant evocation of the desert in spring. The first study for this print was made in the Sonoran Desert near Florence, Arizona, on March 25, 1927, and the next day Baumann finished a drawing in tempera that served as his guide for the carving of the six required color blocks.”

We really enjoyed this puzzle. I loved the colors and subject matter, and it was a good challenge, especially for a 500-piece puzzle. Overall I have really enjoyed these Pomegranate puzzles of offbeat artworks!
Pomegranate puzzles are always a pleasure to solve. This one was a bit of a challenge because of the many Cholla flowers.
trees get you every time. color good even the edge hard
cool picture tough to do
Very happy with quality of this puzzle. Pomegranate puzzles never disapoint.
I love the art of Gustave Bauman. The colors are so beautiful and Pomegranate does a wonderful job of keeping the colors true to the original art. This puzzle is a joy to work on.
Love this puzzle and love this company. I have to say that the puzzle turned out to be a lot harder than I was anticipating. I even got a wee bit frustrated at times, but as with most puzzles, it was also a meditative experience. Pomegranate has very good quality products and this one didn't disappoint.
