A challenging and beautiful box designed by Creative Crafthouse. You must align the 5 side arms to the correct position to allow the cover to slide off. The arms slide left and right. Each arm has 10 possible positions so the number of possible combinations of positions is quite large (10 x 9 x 8 x 7 x 6 = 30,240). We have found that a typical solution time is 30 to 40 minutes. Occasionally done faster, but more often than not people give up and look at the solution which we provide.
The box is made with floorboard material and the arms are either Alder or Cherry wood. The sides and bottom are all jointed which gives both a super solid construction and a nice visual image. Inside, the box is felt lined at the bottom The standard handle on the lid is an oval shape. Designed by Bob Nolet and Dave Janelle and made in Spring Hill, Florida.

It took our 14yr old son 5min to crack it.
Great quality box bought it at the Missouri store. A little to easy to open, took about 3 min that's the only thing i didn't like about it. Wish it was a little harder, other than that assembly seems solid and the finish is great would recommend to anyone who likes puzzle boxes.
Pretty hard for our grandson to figure out without help and clues.
Great Gift for those that are patient and like to think!
