Puzzle greeting cards are the best! You write your message on the back, take the Puzzle apart, and mail the pieces in the enclosed envelope. There is plenty of room to write your brief message and the back is solid, but takes to ink easily without smudges. A suggestion: Squeeze the 2 pieces you are writing on when there is a break between pieces, to make a smooth transition in your writing. There is not a big gap. A normal puzzle gap; this just keeps your writing smooth. The puzzle came with a seal with a picture of the puzzle for ease in solving. The envelope said additional postage was required, but it didn't seem like it would need it. I guess it is due to the irregularity of the pieces inside. I did add a postcard priced stamp to my regular forever stamp. My cousin really enjoyed receiving this greeting card puzzle!
