Irises - Van Gogh

This was a gift to me. It's a beautiful painting and makes a very nice puzzle that is fairly difficult. Pieces are well-,made and interlocking.

Originally I bought this as a gift for a friend who puzzles, but then found out that she dislikes larger 1,000-piece puzzles. So I couldnt send it to her. I didnt want to keep it because I find the colors to be dreary, even though I admire Van Gogh immensely. So I instead I donated it to the nursing home who cared for my sister during her last two years.

Wish colors were more vivid. Overall a good puzzle.

I love puzzle warehouse puzzles. There is nothing like the feel of a good puzzle piece snappong together..i have also built the 24 thousand piece puzzle u have on the wall..that is my pride and joy!!

My favorite VanGogh. I have a large print of it over my bed. I am a retired art teacher and I learned so much more than I ever knew about his brush, the textures and use of color to create balance, harmony and contrast. I have more reverence for this painting now, even though I thought I knew it well.

Challenging but very satisfied.
