Mark Keathley’s (b. 1963) specialty is putting warmth into his paintings, whether they be of horses galloping through a river or young children feeding chickens on the family farm. Keathley grew up on a cattle ranch, spending most of his time outdoors, although he started drawing voraciously at the young age of 5. By 11, he started dabbling in paints, and by his 20s he was skilled enough that people started buying and collecting his art.
