Make sure you have an excellent light source to work this puzzle! There were so many "false fits" because the pieces are all basically the same shape and the colors (especially the coronation robe!!!) so similar that we spent almost as much time removing pieces we thought were perfect fits! Loved the story behind how Cecil Beaton posed this official coronation portrait, even down to the color lipstick the Queen wore for best effect. Had to have it!
I loved this puzzle. The background was particularly hard because it was out of focus because the photograph was centered on Queen Elizabeth II. (Rightly so)
Beautiful puzzle and it is challenging to put together. A great keepsake.
This is such a gorgeous image, and so majestic. This puzzle was a bit more difficult, but i enjoyed working on it.
