Recipe for Murder Jigsaw Puzzle

A real whodunit with a puzzling solution. Read about the dinner party hosted by famous chef Emile Adieu - six guests came, one of them uninvited. Among them was the well-known Inspector Pierre Game ("Gah-may'"), a good man to have on hand when a guest is poisoned before even tasting the fruits of the cook's labors.

Get to know the party guests. It seems everybody had a motive: the accountant, the TV hostess, the attractive ghostwriter and the restaurant reviewer. But only one motive led to murder. Then, assemble the 1000-piece puzzle to see the clues the Inspector uncovered. Let your mind sift through the evidence and solve A Recipe for Murder.

Completed puzzle is 23" x 29"

I enjoy puzzles that have no picture of what the puzzle will be at the finish line. Read the pamphlet beforehand which helps a bit

Loved the challenge of this puzzle and having to do with no picture for reference. The story was typical Inspector Clouseau like and done with humor. Very fun to do and probably won't be able to go back to a regular puzzle again.

Even without a picture of what the finished product would look like we didn't struggle to much to assemble this. The mystery added another level of interest that kept our 9 and 11 year olds engaged in the activity longer than they would for an ordinary puzzle. I wouldn't hesitate to do this type of puzzle again.

This puzzle is tricky since you have no real idea what the puzzle picture is.

I hadn't done a puzzle that had no photo of it to go from in decades. But it was fun and not too hard to do. The clues were there to put together with the story and figure out "who done it." Very enjoyable.

Fun puzzle to read story and figure out murder. Was able to actually figure out murder from the clues. No picture to go by which adds to the challenge.
