Spring Street

Overall, it was an okay puzzle. Got challenging in the top portion with all the flowers and leaves, but still enjoyable. What ruined the experience is that the fit of the the pieces were way too tight. There were a few pieces that were definitely meant to go together but I had to really force them into place. Taking it apart was even worse. I took my time and was super gentle - more gentle than I have ever had to be before, and I've been puzzling since childhood - but a good quarter of the pieces still got damaged just from pulling them apart. Jigsaw puzzles are supposed to hold up to being put together and taken apart several times, but the low quality of this one tells me it'll garbage soon. I certainly will not be doing this one again, and would feel bad even donating it. As much as I like the designs Galison offers, for the $22 price, it's not worth it. Maybe I got a bad batch because I have done one other Galison puzzle before which was fine, but I'll be wary of trying any more of their puzzles again. You can find higher quality at much better price points, or at the very least you can find consistency in quality. Very disappointed.
