Wash on the Line is a 63 piece Large Format jigsaw puzzle. This classic scene is perfect for those who can no longer finish puzzles with 100 or more pieces. Each piece measures 1 1/4" x 1 3/4", and the completed piece puzzle measures 8" x 10".
For dementia patients, jigsaw puzzles with many pieces and detailed images are too difficult. MindStart puzzles, designed by an occupational therapist, are unique because the images have only a few, simple objects in each image, making it easier for the user to find pieces that go together. This design feature, along with having fewer puzzle pieces and images from adult life, allows the person with dementia to have the right level of mental stimulation and dignified success. Also, the large size of the puzzle pieces helps seniors with vision loss to easily see and handle the pieces. A research study showed that patients with dementia were able to set the MindStart puzzles more independently, with less cues needed, when compared to a child’s puzzle of the same size. This gives the person a sense of accomplishment and gives caregivers respite time.

good
Good for dementia patients.
This one is so pretty colors are great, for somebody that does puzzles I'm sure its easy, but I'm 62 and hadn't done a puzzle in twenty /30 years it had me thinking. I appreciate the larger pieces eyes aren't to good. This one is 63 pieces. Don't laugh lol
This easy puzzle helped my soon to be 94 year Mother-in-Law to meet with success. We started out with puzzles that were way too difficult for her. Once she was able to get a strategy in place (edges first) then colors, she completed it quickly. Now we can move her on to a moderate level.
I loved the large pieces. . Just the right number of pieces for a 99 year old woman who's eyesight is failing.
I use puzzles with my dimensia clients from motor skills and visual coordination. This is a great size, not too complicated and easy to handle. Bravo!!
Some difficulty with the green edges, but they all appreciated the adult theme.
This puzzle took me under 10 min to do. It was pretty good quality.
