New-Year-New-Resolutions

Whether you stayed at home puzzling or went out with friends, I hope you had a safe and happy time ringing in 2024. Like many I use this time of year for both reflection and planning for my upcoming year. I thought I would use this blog for exactly that purpose. Now, I know New Year Resolutions aren’t for everyone. Researchers suggest only 9% of Americans complete them and 23% of people quit within their first week. For me, there’s just something about the ritual that gets me excited for the upcoming season of life...CONTINUE READING

Diners-Drive-Ins

Diners have been quintessentially American eateries for over a century and have been featured in just about every facet of pop culture. Just think of all the movies and TV shows where the neighborhood diner was a focal point. Heck, there’s even a Food Network series devoted to them! It’s no wonder that diners and drive-ins are a popular nostalgic theme for so many jigsaw puzzles...CONTINUE READING

The-Most-Wonderful-Time-of-the-Year

Nothing brings me more joy than this time of year! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, or New Years Eve/Day, it’s all represented around the same time creating an explosion of joy for us all. But… BUT the most wonderful holiday of all is… you guessed it! My birthday! Yes, not only are we all celebrating various holidays, but we are also celebrating ME on December 24th. Am I tad delusional in thinking the world is celebrating me? Maybe. But I had found a way to make peace in my head, having a birthday on Christmas Eve and never being able to celebrate because everyone is always busy. So, I decided that all these lights, festivities, and joy on Christmas Eve is actually for me! Since I created this belief for myself at the sweet age of 9, my birthday has been magical to me ever since. So, in honor of all the holidays and my birthday, I dedicate this blog to us – Christmas and Birthday puzzles!...CONTINUE READING

All that White

Are there any cold weather and snow lovers out there? No? Just me? Hopefully there are a few of you to join me in my love for all things winter, because I am 100% a snow baby for sure! When we moved here from Minnesota, I was in fourth grade, and always tried to walk to school in shorts and a T shirt in the middle of winter. To avoid Child Protective Services getting called, my parents compromised that I had to at least wear jeans, and pack a coat in my book bag so I could prove I had the necessary warm attire. Later on, when I went on a skiing trip with my youth group in high school - I definitely skied in waterproof pants … and a T-shirt! For me- the colder the better!...CONTINUE READING

Favorites 2023

Hey it’s Emilee!! Let’s get one thing out in the open. Picking my favorite puzzle from the year was incredibly difficult. Getting about a dozen other puzzlers to decide their favorites was near impossible. Based on their socials, collectively we have done well over 1000 puzzles. When I asked my fellow ambassadors to try and pick their favorite puzzle from 2023, you would have thought I asked them to pick their favorite child. Every single one of them sent me at least three puzzles they couldn’t decide between...CONTINUE READING

It’s that time of the year. We’ve finally made it to the holidays – a time of good cheer, of making memories, of kindness and Christmas songs. It’s a time of taking stock of the year past and being thankful and for time-honored traditions, like puzzling and baking. I’m looking back at a year of puzzling with gratitude to Puzzle Warehouse for giving me an opportunity to share some thoughts and, most importantly, puzzles with you all...CONTINUE READING
